-EVS Multi Seal profile is made from durable aerated PVC that is pre-finished or can be painted to match existing colours.
-EVS Multi Seal V-Seal is made from highly durable polyethylene with a foam core and film skin that can easily mould into gaps.

Fitting existing hardware requires careful repositioning to ensure the mechanisms work correctly. It is recommended that you use a drill to pre-bore the screw holes to avoid cracking the Draught Stop profile.

-EVS Multi Seal is supplied in 5 lengths at 2.1m packs making it ideal for use on a variety of common sized windows and doors.

Double Hung Windows

Double Hung windows are designed to slide up and down and require a gap on each side for the sash to move freely. The EVS V-Brush works ideally to allow for sling movement while blocking the gaps from draughts.

The Draught Stop profiles are narrow and can fit on most standard double hung staff beads (inside facing trim beads). They can be taken the full way up each side for aesthetic reasons
of trimmed to the height o f the bottom panel.

The sides and bottom (3),(4),(5) draught stop can be simply fitted along each facing bead, whereas the top Draught Stop can be fitted in a couple of different configurations (1), (2)depending on where the cross bar sits

Draught Stop for paint finished windows

The white finish is a very common finish for a lot of homes but this can be painted over to match existing paint colour schemes. It is recommend that you use a low sheen water based enamel paint. You can use standard fillers to fill the pin holes and corners.

The white finish is not a surface veneer like other products, so it can be sanded and shaped like timber with the colour elements flowing through the whole profile.

Draught stop can be fitted to all the inside faces of the window frame, but be aware that the bottom rail will have the lip of the profile (3)
across the bottom opening window sil.

Doorways can have larger gaps owing to hinges sagging and doors twisting, so it is recommended that you use the wider options of EVS Draught Stop with a larger capacity to cover wider gaps

You can remount door hardware onto the new Draught Stop or fit the Draught Stop around the hardware. Handles sit clear of the 9mm wide profile.
